New police repression, take action NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Following the discussions around the post and thread titled
'Solidarity For Political Prisoner Sean Kirtley' the news of the illeagal theft and use of data from Sean's computer is now well known among animal rights workers, activists and supporters. Well now the scumbag police have gone even further !!!!!!!!!

At five this morning a series of raids took place of animal rights supporters across the UK, activists have been taken to a number of undisclosed police stations in some cases miles away from where they where arrested. We are working now to get the details of this.

This in itself is shocking enough however the police have used the arrests as an excuse to steal the computer files and records of all the arrested brothers and sisters and use that evidence to make follow up arrests.

If you have information on a computer get rid of it NOW !!!!!

Update

03.10.2008 11:45

*DETAILS REMOVED* and *DETAILS REMOVED* were released at 11 this morning with no charges but I know that *DETAILS REMOVED* is still being held, he is at *DETAILS REMOVED* police station and is refusing to speak until he is supplied with a Vegan meal as proscribed in police regulations. The charges seem to be unclear but the aressts were obviously co-ordinated. *DETAILS REMOVED* has had his house trashed and his daughter traumatised by 10 police in full riot gear breaking his door down in the middle of the night.

I'm going down there later today after work and will post tonight on developments

Very upsetting

03.10.2008 12:06

I have been getting information on this from a few friends around the country. It seems as though the raids were centred on London, Manchester and Liverpool but with police raids on other places as well. Some people who were not at home were taken from their employers during the course of the morning.

The important thing is not to panic. We all knew this day would probably come and now we must show solidarity and love for those caught up in it. Remember that until every caged living creature is free the work must continue and the sacrifices must be made.

Good luck everybody.
