Where is the world migrating? Crossing Borders no. 6

Crossing Borders | 22.09.2008 13:49 | Anti-racism | Globalisation | Migration

just to let you know, that you can find the 6th issue of our
transnational newsletter crossing borders -with the title: "where is
the world migrating?"- now at
 http://www.noborder.org/crossing_borders/

We took the opportunity presented by the European Social Forum in
Malmö (and some reports about migrationrelated seminars and our
assembly in malmoe will follow next days!) to publish another issue
of our newsletter, first only in english version. But for the Euro-
African-mobilisation in Paris at 17th and 18th of October (the
"citizen summit on migration" and the planned demonstration) it
should be available in french too, and following our multilingual
approach in some more languages also.

Crossing borders includes 8 pages this time: on one hand, summarizing
and giving brief reports about the transnational chain of migration-
related actions, on the other hand bringing into discussion some key
aspects of migration in 4 key countries. “Where is the world
migrating?” is our relevant introductory headline. And you will find
texts about the situation in Germany and Italy as two important
actors in Europe, about Mali as an example for the developments in
Africa, and about USA, where we want to follow the “sleepy giant”,
who awaked 2006 in a never seen dimension...
Please help to forward this announcement and to distribute crossing
borders! You can find the english version for outprints directly at
