Change of demo days for Novartis
SHAC Horsham | 22.09.2008 11:39 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | Repression | South Coast
Tuesday 16th Sept
Regular and new faces gathered at Novartis in Horsham on Tuesday to once again voice the horror that all decent people feel that this company continues to enjoy huge profits from the immoral abuse of innocent animals.
Regular and new faces gathered at Novartis in Horsham on Tuesday to once again voice the horror that all decent people feel that this company continues to enjoy huge profits from the immoral abuse of innocent animals.
Literature and banners made even more local people aware of the vile practices that go on behind the locked doors of the ‘’animal house’’ on the Novartis site in Parsonage Road.
At lunch time Norvartis employees scuttled quickly to the car park pretending not to hear how sentient creatures are tortured daily at the request of the company they work for (guilty conscience!!??).
The demo attracted lots of ‘’tooting’’ and ‘’thumbs up’’ support from passing motorists. We were pleased to see that the change of day from Friday to Tuesday meant increased pedestrian traffic (more opportunity to talk to those interested to hear what Novartis get up to – no, they are NOT a packaging plant Horsham!!)
Three stony faced police officers monitoring our peaceful demonstration, tried to stop a young cyclist from chatting with us when she stopped to read our banners and ask more about the atrocities committed on behalf of Novartis at HLS (naughty girl brought her bicycle onto the path!) However, not in the least intimidated, the young woman suggested that they might find a better use for their time and took away leaflets to let friends and family know why STOP HUNTINGDON ANIMAL CRUELTY will never allow animal abuse to go unchallenged.
THE ANIMALS WILL SUFFER UNTIL WE STOP IT.
See you at the demo next week !
