Solidarity with Babi Badalov in Cardiff

Short video of the solidarity demonstration that took place in response to the detention of our friend Babi in Cardiff's Borders Agency offices.

Babi Badalov was snatched by the UK Borders Agency after he turned up to sign on at his regular Tuesday morning appointment this week. He is being threatened with deportation to his native Azerbaijan on Saturday (20th Sept). In response, 50 people turned up at practically no notice to demonstrate the next day in solidarity with Babi and show their disgust at racist UK immigration policies. This is a short video of the protest.

Please take a moment to make the phone call or write the email - every little bit helps, and with enough pressure we can make sure this wonderful man is not sent out of this country to face imprisonment or even death.

Contact Azerbaijan Airlines to register your disapproval at their willingness to deport Babi. Point out how it will harm their business to do so.
