a youth appears to have been beaten to death for one of two reasons.

1) he had a packet of biscuits he didn't want to share
2) he had high melanin content in his skin

His name was Abdul Salam Guibre, he was 19 years of age, he had been born in Burkina Faso & at the time of his death he held Italian citizenship. That seems like racism & fascism to me unless it's something they put in the biscuits.

Whichever this mornings newspapers are "soul-searching" for we know to let the soul of a race murder victim go peacefully onwards is in the worst possible taste. So they ask themselves have they become a people of hate. It takes a few paragraphs and then sidestepping the (racism fascism) choice the article writer posed - ends up with hooligans. Whichever it seems like you shouldn't go near "Bar Shining" in Milan if you've got either biscuits or melanin. Citizenship won't protect you.
