Seven years after the destruction of the World Trade Center complex in the United States, peace campaigners gather in London to mark the event with a series of protests over two days exploring how the event has come to dominate every area of modern-day life here in the UK.

On the morning of the 11th, members of the 9/11 truth movement gather at the US Embassy to hold a week-long vigil to deal with how the WTC 'moment' came about and who may have been responsible for the atrocity. This vigil is joined by members of the Parliament Square Peace Campaign who gather to publicise the World Strike taking place in the US/UK and to hand in to the Americans a Peace Plan formally setting out why and how the Americans may sue for peace to end the so-called "War on Terror".

On September 12th, campaigners gather outside the US Embassy to highlight the case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a former MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) alumni who is currently detained in the United States pending action by US authorities who claim she is a proscribed enemy of the United States. Dr Aafia Siddiqui is currently subject to a media campaign to assist US authorities in transiting her into permanent incarceration: an illustration of one of the primary characteristics of the War on Terror.

The 'anniversary' and protests take place as a poll is revealed stating that the 'globalised non-state conflict ideal' incited by US authorities in tandem with US 'globalisation' since 2001 has now been rejected by the majority of the worlds population and now only enjoys support primarily within G8 member nations.
