In case you haven't been paying attention, the US is currently fomenting coups in both Venezuela and Bolivia. The situation is getting tense, with right-wing protesters in Bolivia killing eight people and both countries expelling the US ambassadors there. Now is the time for all supporters of the Latin American left to show solidarity with the democratically elected progressive governments there and tell the US: "Hands Off Venezuela and Bolivia!"

where is the EU on this issue?

Now that the US backed right wing in Bolivia has murdered 8 people, will the EU step in and demand action against those who both comitted the killings and those who are fomenting them?
Or will the EU do what it has done with South Ossetia incident and back the killers?
