Thursday - Riseup! Radio @ Sumac

Some folks involved in a community based radio project called riseup! radio will be meeting for a chat and a social drink this Thursday, September 11th at the Sumac Centre in Forest Fields.

Riseup! Radio has been making internet-based radio podcasts for the activist and wider community in Nottingham since the beginning of 2008.
A part of the idea is that people going to or involved in organising events in the community use a project such as riseup! radio to document their activities and what motivates them to do the things we do - at grassroots level.
A platform such as a radio project also gives us an opportunity to reach new people with news of our events and actions.
We will meet at 7pm at the Sumac Centre, 245 Gladstone St., Nottingham NG7 6HX on Thursday to plan future shows and discuss other ideas. Do join us!
