Stop Tesco - Newcastle

You might have already heard that there is a plan to build a giant 24 hour Tesco supermarket on the site of the General Hospital in Newcastle. Now is the time when we have the chance to say how we feel about the plans. After the 19 September 2008, the council will be deciding whether the Tesco should go ahead.
What will Tesco mean for our community?
* Less local shops
* More traffic
* Poorer local economy
* A change to our communities
