Shut ITT! Mass demo against EDO-MBM/ITT October 15th

Smash EDO | 05.09.2008 18:32 | Smash EDO | South Coast

After the big, lively and successful Carnival Against the Arms Trade
in June, it is now time to think of the future. The next big demo
against EDO will be held on Wednesday the 15th of October and will
meet at noon opposite Falmer station in Brighton. Again, the theme
will be red and the sound will be rebellious!

The last demo attracted over 600 people from all around the country
and we want this one to do the same. To show EDO that our movement is
growing we need you! If you are able to help in anyway please get in
touch. We need people to

-do publicity in their local area (we can send posters/flyers).

-Volunteer to be a local contact for their area and/or arrange
coaches or other transport down to Brighton.

-Organise public meetings in their area.

-Create affinity groups!

-Show up and bring some noise

If you need some inspiration Smash EDO might be available to come and
talk to your local campaign or show the campaign film On the Verge.

Flyers for the event and more information about both the demo and the
campaign can be found on  http://www.smashedo.org.uk

Will it be safe to bring children along or is a riot planned again?
