International Demo in Stockholm Against HLS Customer Novartis

SHAC | 29.08.2008 23:07 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | World

This year's international animal rights gathering, AR 2008, was held in the beautiful Swedish countryside last week. After four days of inspirational workshops and the sharing of ideas, either "formally" in the barn or informally around the campfire, activists were eager to confront animal abusers in Stockholm. What better target than Novartis!

Sixty activists representing ten different countries, from Canada to Poland, united to denounce the horribly cruel animal experiments performed by Huntingdon Life Sciences on behalf of Novartis. Equipped with several banners, megaphones, whistles and loud voices we made it very clear to everybody working at Novartis (We saw you gawking out of the windows!), as well as all the businesses in the neighbourhood, that animal abuse will not be tolerated. Deal with HLS deal with us!

Novartis, we are sick and tired of your disgusting blood contracts with Huntingdon Life Sciences. We are fully committed to close down HLS and we can promise that the global campaign against you is only going to get stronger.
