In last two days a large green asteroid passed Planet Earth on its meandering journey through our solar system. The last time it passed earth was some 2 million years ago. But Earth and the Green Asteroid are old acquaintances and always have a good chat when passing.

This time their conversation went something like this:

Earth. Hey dude, good to see you again, feels like it was only yesterday I saw you last.

Green Asteroid. Yeh time seems to be speeding up the older I get.

Earth. How you doin anyhow Greeny?

Green Asteroid. Hey actually not so good, a few hundred thousand years ago, on the outer spiral arm, I picked up a nasty parasite, and you know, and I just don’t seem to be able to get rid of it.

Earth. Oh god it is the same for me man, I got humans, and they are really giving me some jip. I got some bad growths on my skin and I’m having problems with my breathing.

Green Asteroid. Ah well that’s life, hope things are better for you next time we meet.

Earth. So long buddy, but actually it is pretty bad for me, and if I don’t make it till the next time we pass, it’s been good knowing you.
