Yeah, I would be sceptical of the Newsnight tag, but having read Paul Mason's book I can say it is an excellent book and would recommend it to activists unequivocally (despite having minor reservations about some of Mason's analysis).

Mason has spoken widely on socialist platforms, and his work has received rave reviews from socialists, trade unionists, wobblies and anti-capitalist activists:
