Somerset County Council, Avon and Somerset Police £500m corruption scandal - documentary hacked - Originally 24 minutes long the original Google Video upload mysteriously began to cut off yesterday at only 7 minutes in - just before the key part of the interview with the Chief Executive of Somerset County Council Alan Jones who appears to believe it's normal to make volleys of official complaints against your senior political opponents to close the deal. Please pass this documentary link to as many public officials as possible, particularly councillors.

Alan Jones, Chief Executive of Somerset County Council. But for how long?
Alan Jones, Chief Executive of Somerset County Council. But for how long?

For anyone that's missed the finer points of this corruption scandal. A clique on Somerset County Council pushing this £500m privatisation contract made over 70 misconduct complaints against Cllr. Paul Buchanan which helped force him out of office. He is a former deputy leader of the council and the key critic of this IBM privatisation deal.

MALFEASANCE IN PUBLIC OFFICE
The offence is misconduct in public office, which has been defined as:-
"Where a public officer is guilty of misbehaviour in office by neglecting a duty imposed upon him either at common law or by statute, he commits a misdemeanour and is liable to indictment unless another remedy is substituted by statute. The liability exists whether he is a common law or a statutory officer; and a person holding an office of important trust and of consequence to the public, under letters patent or derivatively from such authority, is liable to indictment for not faithfully discharging the office."

I would like to correct your statements about the EU and challenge you to explain how the following does not benefit the UK public.

Please can you specify on how laws to improve air quality in the UK negatively affect ordinary people.
Please can you specify how choosing the best and least environmental development in the UK under EU directives harms the UK public.
Please can you tell me how the right to personal protection of your information does not benefit the public.
Please can you tell me how opposition to genetic modification until there is further investigation into harm does not benefit the UK.

All of the above has been opposed by the UK Government.

The UK Government want to continue polluting without protection, build and develop by acquiring land through wrongful practices to take advantage of ordinary communities, right to lose and exploit personal data, introduce genetically modified foods so our food chain becomes controlled by the same corporations that have destroyed the lives of good honest small farmers and fishermen and made our food the worst in Europe. Meanwhile Mandelson wants to destroy the European farming industry and the African farmers by handing it over to big corporations under the other false lie that a protected farming industry is somehow wrong, I do not want my food to come hundreds of miles and as I do not trust UK farming unless I know it is organic, Europe offers hope. The people I do not trust in Europe are Kinnock and Mandelson, other people actually do try and help.

I would also check out what they have done for consumers. see this website
