Firstly I would like to point out that my sympathies do not lie with officialdom or authority, and that I am not meaning to be snidey in the above introduction.

But doesn't being singleminded about freeing Palestine or Afghanistan or Iraq, or being lesbians against war, or succumbing to socialist/communist/anarchist ideologies take its toll on you after a while?

Don't get me wrong, I think the people that run this world are unbelievably sick, but I must admit that I have not found the people who use Indymedia to be very helpful. I think they are stuck on the polar opposite of their enemies. I don't think they want to change the system at all. I think they want to run it.

Did that hit a raw nerve? Good.

So what's my ulterior motive or agenda? Very simple:

If you don't want to buy anything, fair enough, but there are links that will take you to other parts of the psychedelic community from my shop. I know you probably started out with the urge to think for yourselves when you decided that you did not want to tow the mainstream line anymore, and fair enough, but is it possible you may have been pulled onto a bandwagon of robot radicals who are just as much fundamentalists and zealots, and just as bad as the people they are condemning? Imagine how unbelievably sick it would be if they ran the world instead. What would they do if they had no reason to wave banners whilst fighting riot police?
