Self-Harm in Immigration Detention 2nd Quarter 2008 April/May/June
There were 61 incidents of 'Self-Harm requiring medical treatment' in April/May/June 2008 an increase of 27% on previous quarter Jan/Feb/Mar 2008, 48 incidents.

Colnbrook IRC is of grave concern there was 24 incidents of serious Self-Harm a 300% increase on the previous quarter 8 incidents.
Yarl's Wood IRC also of grave concern there was 10 incidents of serious Self-Harm a 250% increase on the previous quarter 4 incidents. Numbers of individuals on 'Formal Self-Harm at Risk' were up 50% on the previous quarter.
