Hereford Police - Carnival Against Vivisection
NETCU WATCH | 13.08.2008 20:04 | Stop Sequani Animal Testing | Birmingham
The police are beginning to get a bit worried. Chris D and Lyn Sawyer called by Shane Hancock of Hereford Police asking for 'organizers' of "Carnival Against Vivisection"
Around 8pm this evening (13.08.08) activists from WARN received a phone call from Hereford Police asking if they would like to meet up and liaise with officers regarding the proposed unauthorized event "Carnival Against Vivisection" - 6th September.
The officer simply wanted a "quick chat" with activists about the event. Unfortunately neither were willing to talk. After all the last "leader" of the Sequani Campaign was Sean Kirtley.
Sean Kirtley was found guilty under Section 145 of the SOCPA law for “Interfering with the contractual relationships of a Laboratory” for allegedly organising protests at Sequani Limited and associated business associates. Police say disorder took place on a occasions during protests and claim as the organiser that Sean is responsible for any criminality that takes place.
It has become clear now that the police are now looking for someone to take responsibility for the event.
After the actions taken against the climate camp, the last question is how far are the police willing to go next?
More raids? More arrests? More injustice?
Maybe it's because of the resent slip ups?
NETCU Handbook now available along with a number and email add?
The 4.5million spent on putting one person away?
The temporary CLOSURE of the cooling system?
The failure to get into the Climate Camp?
We could go all day NETCU.
FOR THE OFFICERS READING THE ARTICLE. IT APPEARS THIS NEEDS TO BE REITERATED, FOR THE SAKE OF BOTHERING OTHER ACTIVISTS, THERE ARE NO EVENT ORGANISERS, THERE IS NOBODY TO HOLD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS EVENT.
