It has been reported that USA, UK and France are sending large amounts of military ships and hardware to the Gulf.

Is this news? Almost certainly not since it was first reported on August 10th.
Thing is....if the USA and its puppies ARE looking to boost their own hate filled, capitalist economies by more war and more arms sales.....as is probably the case, some people think that this could be the advent of Armageddon times.

Well. I think the question we should maybe ask ourselves is :-
Are we going to go to work, school, pub, soccer, bingo tommorrow.....or ARE we going to seriously consider now taking actions to stop ANY more imperialistic, nuclear filled wars and to consider shutting down, stopping, blocking, locking, shocking the arms trade, military industrial complex NOW anywhere and everywhere in the U.K.?
Or am I just being paranoid and can I look forward to a nice relaxed chill out holiday or festival in September without the need for iodine?
Love and stuff....whilst we still have ANY stuff.

As for bringing down the US military by sitting outside a base or two......
I know I am being silly but has anyone sussed that the only thing they listen to is the politicos and they only listen to lobby groups, the way to get things moving is to form REAL political parties and BECOME the people who make decisions.
It's the true strength of democracy, you may not like it but whinging in a puddle or shouting at tired and frankly bored police is NEVER going to do more than get a couple of paragraphs on the 4th page after the bingo results.
"movements" and "activism" are gleaning fewer real results due to over exposure, the camp in parliment square is no longer seen by Londoners, it's background noise at least and could even by touted as a fine example of how TOLERANT the state is of political opinon. The general public also edit out much that happens due to this over exposure, they see it as "farckin' crusties" causing trouble and look no further.
