There will be a demo in Manchester on 16 August, in response to the death of an Iranian refugee who hanged himself on 5 August after being evicted from his home by the racist British Home Office.

There will be an emergency march in Manchester on Saturday 16 August 2008, in response to the death of Iranian refugee Nadir Zarebee who hanged himself in a Longsight park in Manchester on Tuesday 5 August after being evicted from his home by the racist Home Office's NASS-appointed 'accommodation provider' M&Q Properties Ltd. Anti-racists, refugees and supporters will assemble in Piccadilly Gardens then march to the BBC who censor the racist treatment and brutal human rights abuses of migrants and refugees.

The march has the following demands:

No to deportations!

Stop starving asylum seekers!

No immigration controls!

For the right to work

No to destitution!

All organisations and campaigns are invited to take part.
