Prisoners’ Justice Day demonstration

Sunday 10 August 1-3pm, outside Styal prison, Wilmslow, Cheshire (nearest stations Wilmslow and Manchester Airport).


In memory of all prisoners who have died as a result of prison brutality and negligence, and in celebration of the life and work of Pauline Campbell, who fought for five years against the prison system which murdered her only daughter Sarah.

Called by No More Prisons, and supported by Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism!, 325 Magazine, Brighton Anarchist Black Cross, Campaign Against Prison Slavery, Justice for Women, Professor Joe Sim, Eric Allison (Guardian prisons correspondent), Louise Whittle, Dr Andrea Beckmann and others.

If the No More Prisons group get their way what's to be done with Ian Huntley and other dangerous murderers? Are the No More Prison people going to take them in as lodgers?

I can't be with you but I send you my support. I met Pauline on a demonstration last year and was impressed by her energy and dedication. A great loss.
