Numerous independent cultural and artistic groups are now carrying a
petition for the reburials of bones dug up in the Collierstown and Ardsallagh
sites during the ongoing routing of the Gabhra Valley in order to build
a road: The M3 .
and increased Petrol Dependency : A Green Coalition Government.

There will be a solidarity action and a re-iteration of campaign methods this
Friday the eight of august :

The petition for the re-burial of bones follows on from a solid year of campaigning
wherein campaigners have witnessed unethical site desecrations on the sites
and multiple violences against their persons.
Par for the Course methodologies (under a Green environment Minister : John
Gormley : http://www.environ.ie ) have included:
1. the use of private security firms. 2. Agent Provacateur Campaigning.
3.use of tech/filming (including filming the children of campaigners.4. and a refusal to
look at the images of violence particularly against women campaigners:
which are distributed throughout the indymedia networks and carried
on the Tara Solidarity sites).
No Irish Political party has put forward an intelligent and comprehensive
Heritage preservation plan in an era of global change and instead see fit to
support fastrack planning and infrastructure bills ( there's more profit
in it).
There is no agency in Ireland charged with Statutory protections of natural and
built heritage since 2003, when Duchas was abolished.
Whilst the issues of protections for the remainder of the area are now being
discussed they are being discussed in an atmosphere of a lack of a
comprehensive and intelligent approach to eco- which has caused a
deep sense of betrayal amongst many former supporters of the Green Party
whose Minister seems unwilling to address the issues that have lead to this
destruction by switching the goal-posts and ignoring the series of legislations
introduced by his partners in Government (Fianna Fail) That have eroded
all protections for our natural and built heritage over a period of seven Years.
There has been no approach to legislation that is clearly developer-led,
nor to the stripping of citizen-rights and access to the courts under new
Planning Laws.
