Should've performed a citizens arrest on them for theft.

The usual excuse is....

The usual excuse is.... in central London in anycase as I often see that it "may contain a bomb" dispite the fact just around the corner there are cars, vans, taxis, buses, lorries parked. What happens in London is that the poor person who bike been nicked by the coppers has to go and pick it up from the station dispite the fact there's no warning about no parking your bike in the area.

If it were a bomb as they say, it's funny that they take it inside the Police Station.

I wonder what the real reason is. Unsightly? Who knows.

given, i imagine, is that dangerous domestic extremists use bike locks to 'commit criminal damage' i.e. to render a st of gates unusable for their purpose by locking them shut. they're trying to make sure nobody can do anthing, overstretching their powers, safe in the knowledge that they will always be justified in court. scum.

It should be easy to work out why they took the bikes away, won't it be in that document that the police dropped the other day?

I would be so pissed off if that was my bike. Apart from having to walk to the station they would spend 2-6 hours to get it out of the basement, telling you in that time that the only way to get it back would be at a police auction, weeks away and tens of miles away.

lowest of the low

the cops really are desperate aren't they.
what a pitiful and lowly thing to do.

well, i guess when you're tired of using sketchy laws from a partially fabricated netcu handbook to no avail, i guess the only thing left to turn to is theft of innocent people's property..
