Tonight we have the temporary Field IMC at the Camp for Climate Action, Deansgate Ridge nr Kingsnorth on-line and running with terminals for publishing via a bidirectional satellite link. We shall be running minimal services from tomorrow onwards. We'll be fully running by Sunday/Monday of the camp.

Supplementing the satellite system we have a distributed 3G connection providing backup, load balancing and low power access throughout periods of low demand. It's pretty slow at the moment (about 200kbps) but hopefully we'll be able to improve things with a little antenna twiddling in the morning.
