Animal Rights at Climate Camp - Final Call

Animal Rights Events | 01.08.2008 02:19 | Climate Camp 2008 | Animal Liberation | Climate Chaos | Ecology | London | South Coast

All preparations are now in place for the Animal Rights presence at this year's Climate Camp, which starts this Sunday 3rd for eight days at Kingsnorth, Kent. It is near Rochester so within easy reach of London.

Climate Change is a massive Animal Rights issue. We could achieve full legal recognition of the equality of all animal lives, human and non human, and find this made irrelevant by the potentially catastrophic consequences of human induced climate change.

With many groups pledged to attend, there will be stalls, workshops, talks, discussions, film shows and more. Please try to get as many people as you can to come alomg and help get accross the message that Animal Rights is the beating heart of all truly ethical eco action.

There will be animal rights workshops every day at 1pm apart from Saturday (direct action day).

This is what is planned

Tuesday 5th: Sea Shepherd (plus film in the evening)

The workshops and the day of action will be good training for the carnival against vivisection for anyone planning on going next weekend. By learning how to shut down Kingsnorth, you'll learn how shut places down like Sequani...

Check out the Netcu/Sequani workshop on the Friday :-)
