Cadogan & James Bin Foie Gras

SARC | 29.07.2008 17:32 | Animal Liberation | South Coast

As you may have seen in the Southern Daily Echo or the Hampshire Chronicle, (a copy of the report is available on the SARC website), Cadogan and James have added themselves to the long list of businesses in the South to drop foie gras, the delicacy of despair.

From the Hampshire Chronicle:

'One of the staff behind the counter in the store, who would not give his name, said that there were six portions of foie gras left in the shop and after they were sold it would be discontinued. He refused to make any further comment.'

This is another victory for SARC and we thank James Martin and all who work in his resturaunt for making an ethical choice, but our work is not done on this subject until the whole of the South Coast and beyond is foie gras free.

Don't believe what you read in the papers.

The manager of Cadogan and James still intends to supply foie gras to customers who request it. This is no different to having it for sale in the shop.
