Third attempt to remove Alliance Ngondiop

John O | 23.07.2008 05:14 | Migration | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | Birmingham

Alliance Ngondiop, a Cameroon national, is currently detained in Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre and due to be forcibly removed from the UK on Air France flight AF5864 Friday 25th July @ 06:35 from Southampton, to Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport, then AF946 @ 10:25 to Douala, Douala Cameroon.

Please support Alliance in her fight to stay in the UK where she has community ties. She should not be forced back to her country to suffer more abuse, stigmatization, isolation, or threats to her life by an abusive family. There is no guarantee that the police in Cameroon will protect her from abuse, given the level of corruption that exists in the police force in that country today, which human rights reports have highlighted as a major problem in Cameroon. This will be the second attempt to remove Alliance.

It is still proving a nightmare finding Alliance a solicitor as she is without funds. If anyone can help with finding a solicitor who will work without payment, please contact the campaign.
