Kemi Ayinde-pregnant mother given new removal directions

no borders wales | 05.07.2008 19:19 | Migration

After British Airways declined to allow failed asylum seeker 24 year Kemi Ayinde to fly last Tuesday, the Home Office will again attempt to remove her and her family

5 months pregnant Kemi Ayinde, her partner and 18 month old daughter have been given further removal directions.

They are scheduled to be deported on Tuesday 8th July at 10.15am on Virgin Nigeria flight VK292 from Gatwick North Terminal.

British Airways refused to take Kemi last Tuesday ago due to health problems, including high blood pressure. During the last removal attempt the family were kept in a van for around 8 hours on a warm day, from 6am until 2pm, only getting food and water at 1pm. Kemi vomited during the time in the van.
