Yesterday the hitherto "outsider" campaign to get the facts of the USAs faulty election process into the mainstream - in fact, into action - (see"freepress.org""election coverage") has at last got into Congress, after numerous semi-hushed up arrests, resignations, inquiries, then people doing actual jailtime for it in Ohio have taken it out of the realms of "theory" into actual proof, with results.
With a bit of luck, in time to clean up the process prior to this years presidential elections, Congress has in front of it the proof of past distortions in the democracy of the USA - including the misuse of "opaque" computer voting machines that seem to have gotten used internally in the GOP elections a few years ago - against the guy who is presently the actual GOP presidential nominee - so alerting society to the purely criminal nature of these operations.
for more information - see the reports about the most recent papers put out by congressional rep KUCINICH . There is also a petition - but the key aspect of this at the moment is letting the media catch up with the good solid investigations done by numerous folks - of all parties - ( computer experts come in all politics ! ) . . . .
In a lot of ways, this election affects the entire world - the least those of us could do from further away is to support those trying to keep it clean - or clean it up . . . . if we are going to have a hope of the "new page" that we all need.
