An aerial shot of one of the largest police training facilities in the world hunkered down in the luscious green pastures of Gravesend, Kent, where England’s formidable Metropolitan Police force tackles hypothetical anarchy in a lot that looks like a amusement park more so than a staging ground for urban unrest and abatement. The 9,250 square meter site (38-hectare) was opened back in 2003 by the private company Equion, according to the BBC “through the government's Private Finance Initiative, using both public and private money.”

The article is a little over the top don't you think, with it's purple prose and self indulgent hysteria.

It makes the place sound like the lair of Dr NO, with innuendos towards it being a "secret" base....oooohhh scary!

It's on the bloody web, and is searchable on google FFS!

Next revelation.......theres a big wheel in London, near the Thames.

I can't find a reason why this article even exists, it's stating the obvious, except for the bit about being in Kents green landscape.....it's in Gravesend! That cant even be classed as a wasteland, the smell from the swamp it sits in make housing untenable, and the wildlife have got use to the noise from the place.
