NO FORCED DEPORTATIONS TO ZIMBABWE
Friday 27th June from 4pm
Market Square, Nottingham

Zimbabwean Community Protest
Zimbabwean Community Protest

The ongoing violence in Zimbabwe cannot be disputed yet the
British government continues to send Zimbabwean asylum seekers back. This is unaccepatble in inhumane - please join the Zimbabwean Community in Nottinghams' Market Square 4pm 27th June to protest against ongoing forced deportations into Mugabe's violent and murderous regime.

it be clear that the sole purpose of this demonstration is to register our concern regarding the issue of forced removal or deportation of Zimbabweans irregardless of their immigration status, whatever, the outcome of the June 27 elections in Zimbabwe. Even though our life conditions as failed assylum seekers are a struggle - travelling far to sign regularly whilst not allowed to work and with no free access to the health delivery system is better compared to early removal to Zimbabwe. It is, therefore, our plea that Britain may employ a human face to the rehabilitation issue since most of us are casualities of Mugabe’s 28 years regime - left with no homes, no jobs, no hope. We believe Organisations such as Red Cross International, International Organisation for Migration, No Borders, and others do back our cause as well

The protest will be follwed by a public meeting in Zimbabwean issues, at the Sumac Centre, 245 Gladstone St, Forest Fields starting at 7pm. Food will be available (for a donatin) by Small World Kitchen (8pm ish) and Music from DJ Simba.
