Just to let you know that this meeting is still going ahead at an alternative venue. The British National Party is so well established in Blackpool It is not a problem for us to arrange venues anywhere in Blackpool.

Just to add, let that be a warning. We at Lancaster Unity warned the manger at the venue that it would not be in her own physical interest to let the meeting go ahead, if you get our meaning!

That's completely untrue. Nobody threatened the manager of the venue (Pauline) at all. I had a very long conversation with her and she said those who rang up had simply told her what the BNP was all about and she decided after the first couple of calls to cancel the meeting. Threats would have helped no-one and Lancaster Unity supporters aren't stupid enough to make them.
