A new non-profit café opens in Cambridge on Jesus Lane. The café will serve a healthy affordabe meal, cakes, coffees and teas from 10am to 11pm.
A café is opening in Cambridge on the 20th of June, and this is not just another café! All-day Friday is non-profit making with proceeds from the day being donated to the Lesbian Association of India, a charitable organisation suporting lesbian and bisexual women in India to run community centres and carry out outreach work.
The café will be Indian Themed with a Bollywood film screening in the evening preceeded by a mix of classical and modern Indian music mixed by a local DJ.
Another important feature of the café is that it will be L.G.B.T.S. friendly, the organisers wanted to open up a space in Cambridge with promotes awaress of the LGBT organisations/ scene in Cambridge and at the same time welcomes everyone under and over 18.
