On Tuesday June 10th around 40 protesters returned to Lenton Lane to picket arms company Heckler & Koch. Protesters were entertained by music in the sunshine while distributing hundreds of leaflets to workers and passers by.

Heckler & Koch is the world's second-largest manufacturer of assault rifles and submachine guns. Millions of H&K weapons are in use and have caused 1.5 million deaths around the world. The company's international sales office is based in Nottingham.

Now local anti-arms-trade activists have set up a campaign against Heckler & Koch. For more information, see the website and join the Notts Anti-Militarism mailing list by sending an e-mail to  nottsantimilitarism-subscribe@lists.riseup.net.

people or in situations against the geneva conventions & good laws.CAnt get to meet, but this is a important view held by many, guns are still needed sometimes for self defence though.
THough the hypocrisy of parts of the corporate government is staggering yes, being anti gun in the city whilst supporting arms dealers knowingly selling to dodgy illegal regimes& death squads
