Smashed at EDO Bruise Gallery

Here are some injuries sustained whilst protesting against the arms trade at EDO-MBM in Brighton on Wednesday. We are sore - wondering if others are too. Here are some photos of the injuries we got at the batons of the police.

We were there to protest against the making of weapons which smash, burn, maim, crush and kill human bodies. Neither of us were aggressive in either word or action towards the police but in trying to do as we were asked and leave the car park of EDO, we were repeatedly jabbed and assaulted. The bruises in the photographs are the result of this brutality.

Imagine if those steel bars (aka police batons) had been cracked on the back of your head, you'd have probably suffered a fatal injury like the thousands of people that have died in police custody with no-one brought to justice.

In my experience not all coppers act this way& if we single out the bad ones the others sometimes appreciate it especially as the bad ones are often the bossy coppers who get promoted.
I not sure who is worse, brew crew,agent provacuetuers or blatant police provactuers in uniform

The words anarchist and Copper have never and will never go together in a positive interdependant manner. Let's get a few things straight. The Police exist solely to follow orders from the ruling class. That is the laws protecting the exploiting class from the exploited's response. Smash EDO has had a lot of hassle from the police with random arrests ranging from excessive noise to juggling without a liscense to entertain. The Police is an internal army. And just like military personel they consist of 2 types of people. Fascists or Dumb Fucks willing to attack and smash any resistance. Neither deserve to be treated as humans. P.S you aint an Anarchist.

One protestor has a broken middle finger as a result of police baton strike. Don't have pics but hand is swollen, black, purple and green and will require surgery.
