Anti-racism Public meeting 31 May 2008, 1pm
NWASDG | 30.05.2008 16:17 | Anti-racism | Migration | Repression | London
On Saturday 31 May 2008, from 1pm, there will be Public meeting at the Friends Meeting House (Quakers House, opposite the central Library), 6 Mount Street, Manchester.
Is there a link between defending asylum seekers and the struggle against racism? Should the asylum issue be a charitable or political issue? Come and hear the experiences of a speaker from Tyneside Community Action for Refugees, TCAR in the north east. The speaker from TCAR will tell us about their experiences in the north east and about the anti-racism conference they are planning for on 21 June 2008.
Contact us if you want to speak. All speakers, groups and individuals are welcome to speak without censorship, against the racist policies and degrading and inhuman treatment of asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants in Britain by this racist Labour government!
In solidarity
