this one be a fancy dress special!

Sunday 1st June

7.30pm-3am

Tasty Veggie BBQ from 7.30

Come in some fancy/crazy attire/dress...We couldnt agree on a dress 'theme' so just go for it!

So this month we are celebrating the last year or so of DEMO with a kind of ‘best of’; theming our decoration according to some past issues: Jungle, Water and Climate Change upstairs, and AIDS/Health, Anti-Arms Trade and Play downstairs/outside!

We are supporting lots of groups who we either have done before and thought were especially important, or who have asked for help that we had previously been unable to provide…
These are: The Sankofa Foundation, Smash EDO, Shut Down Heckler and Koch, Osbournby Primary School, Radcliffe Power Station Activists, Zambi Aids, Nottingham Indymedia, Survival and Hands Off The People Of Iran…

However in light of the recent ‘terror’ arrests debacle we are going to give the above less money and primarily support the Save Hitch campaign… As some of you may or may not know Hich, an innocent peace activist and Nottingham Uni employee is facing unlawful imminent deportation

We have an extra-good lineup of various excellent things… Check the Lightning Tokyo’s debut in the acoustic room and Ed Steelefox’s mashup nursery rhyme-rave session in the main room!

Howz about everyone dressing in black against oppression& fascist tendencies, no one can beat it. Personally I will try to wear a multicoloured tutu underneath.
