Nottingham & Lincoln Animal Rights Joint Day of Action Against P&G

Nottingham and Lincoln Animal Rights joined forces as part of the national day of action (May 17th) against Procter and Gamble, as co-ordinated by Uncaged Campaigns. Procter and Gamble continue to test on thousands of animals in cruel and unusual experiments.

In a joint day of action from both Nottingham and Lincoln Animal Rights, an information stall complete with street theatre and costumes was held first in Lincoln (10.30 - 13.00) and later in Nottingham (15.15 - 17.30).

The public were receptive and many pledged to avoid all P&G produts in the future for as long as they continue to test on animals. The elements of street theatre were particularly well received and attracted many interested parties. Hundreds of signatures were collected as part of petitions, and likewise hundreds of leaflets were distributed, offering information on compassionate and ethical living.
