The Chairman of Her Majesty Revenue and Customs, David Hartnett, has apologised to Mr Ali for claims made by employees at Her Majesty Revenue and Customs at the Tax Credit Office in Preston. Mr Ali was accused of a number of offences after his details appeared on the far right website Redwatch. These included false allegations of sexual harassment and of expressing support for suicide bombers, because he wore an Arabic headscarf. Mr Ali was also accused of being an extremist by Tony Smith, and other TCO staff. So far, HMRC have refused to report these hate crimes to Lancashire Police, as requested by various groups.

We will keep you up to date with this incredible and bizarre story.
