Call for actions! Don't let Israel celebrate 60 years of occupation

SUNDAY 29th JUNE -LONDON & MANCHESTER
Calling all individuals, clowns, groups, journalists, first aiders, legal support, cameras & filmmakers: come along and show your disgust at 'celebrating' a nation built on war, terror and ethnic cleansing. Let's see the thousands who supported the people of Tibet also show their solidarity with the people of Palestine. End all occupations!
This is the first time the parade is happening in England and according to the official www.salutetoisrael.org, the Community Security Trust are providing 'over 3,000 security volunteers who will be working side by side with police officers on the day.'
www.thecst.org.uk
At a recent CST fundraising dinner, David Cameron urged them to ''carry on monitoring those who would harm this community..the CST is highly regarded because it is combines vigilance with responsibility and performs its duty with dignity and restraint. The police and security services do a great job but, inevitably, they have
many priorities and limited resources.'' So we will be in safe hands!
But of course the 60 year military occupation continues...Israel continues to build more illegal settlements in the West Bank and refuses to allow the 2-3 million Palestinians who are now refugees in the surrounding countries to return. The area now left for the hoped-for creation of a Palestinian state is in five disconnected blocks amounting to only 13% of the total area of Mandate Palestine. This land area and the degree of sovereignty that appears to be acceptable to Israel would make a two-state solution virtually impossible. Palestinians are gradually being expelled from Jerusalem, despite its designation as an international corpus separatum by the UN, and Israel has walled the city off from the rest of the West Bank. Many of the three quarters of a million Palestinians who fled the carnage in 1948-49 were exiled in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. This is where they and their descendants still live, some within sight of their own homes and land, which they can see being used by the people whose armies drove them out.
The story is indeed one of national catastrophe for Palestinians. It is also one of immorality, illegality, racial discrimination and injustice perpetrated by Zionist
Israel. History shows that Britain has a particular responsibility; we owe it to the Palestinian people to support their struggle for justice and independence. (www.palestinecampaign.org/files/0802nakba-factsheetFINAL.pdf)

People protested against the Chinese treatment of the Tibets because there is real injustice in Tibet. Despite the best efforts of racist, antisemitic groups like yours the vast majority of British people understand how the people that you call Palestinian have been used as political pawns by the Arab world for 60 years whil Israel has bent over backwards to accomadate them.
In the same way your pathetic little demos have always attracted only the extremist Muslims and the Jew hating Left this one will be the same and fail to draw much more than a score of bigots and racists.

You champion murderous regimes in Iran (where homosexuals are executed), Saudi (where children can be put to death), regimes where women have no rights, no vote. But Israel who have a free press, equality of sexes, democracy - is the target of your hatred.
You say you are just anti Israeli, not anti Jewish - but the Hamas you support calls for the murder of Jews. Your comments can be traced to the Middle Age blood libels. You are fooling nobody.
86 Christian countries, 52 Muslim countries, ONE Jewish state, the size of Wales and you want to get rid of it.
Well - we are here to stay. Come to Heaton Park - if you are lucky the Police will take you away before I get to you.

You never protest against Palestinian terrorism!

Twice.
Full stop.
No messing.
And I have yet to meet a single zionist whocan come up with a convincing and credible argument against this.
The zionist entity was built on ethnic cleansing, terror and massacres, and therefore stands at the same level as Apartheid South Africa.

If I was an Israeli or a person of Jewish faith anywhere in the world I would be anything but proud of the flag waving patriotic display on your 60th anniversary. I wonder who would be proud of a country built on the foundations of state sponsored terror.......... Hitler...Goebbels....Stalin perhaps?

You mean until it's held to the same standards as other states, with International Laws, and violated and ignored UN Security Council Resoilutions enforced through a peacekeeping force to end Zionism's war?
I think something of the sort is not far off now ...

Claiming that one tiny country has no right to exist; no place in the world. As Jewish & Proud pointed out over 80 Christian Countries and over 50 Muslim Countries but you cannot bear to see one Jewish State.
The truth is you really dont mind Jews as long as they are weak and you can pity them; correct?
So what has Israel done in 60 years?
Here is a capsule of accomplishments you may not be fully aware of. I thought you might find these statistics interesting.
The Middle East has been growing date palms for centuries. The average tree is about 18-20 feet tall and yields about 38 pounds of dates a year. Israeli trees are now yielding 400 pounds/year and are short enough to be harvested from the ground or a short ladder.
Israel, the 100th smallest country, with less than 1/1000th of the world's population, can lay claim to the following:
The cell phone was developed in Israel by Israelis working in the Israeli branch of Motorola, which has its largest development center in Israel. Most of the Windows NT and XP operating systems were developed by Microsoft-Israel.
The Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed in Israel at Intel. Both the Pentium-4 microprocessor and the Centrino processor were entirely designed, developed and produced in Israel.
The Pentium microprocessor in your computer was most likely made in Israel.
Voice mail technology was developed in Israel.
Both Microsoft and Cisco built their only R&D facilities outside the US in Israel.
The technology for the AOL Instant Messenger ICQ was developed in 1996 by four young Israelis.
Israel has the fourth largest air force in the world (after the U. S, Russia and China). In addition to a large variety of other aircraft, Israel's air force has an aerial arsenal of over 250 F-16's. This is the largest fleet of F-16 aircraft outside of the U. S.
According to industry officials, Israel designed the airline industry's most impenetrable flight security. U. S. officials now look to Israel for advice on how to handle airborne security threats.
Israel's $100 billion economy is larger than all of its immediate neighbors combined. Israel has the highest percentage in the world of home computers per capita.
Israel has the highest ratio of university degrees to the population in the world.
Israel produces more scientific papers per capita than any other nation by a large margin - 109 per 10,000 people -- as well as one of the highest per capita rates of patents filed.
In proportion to its population, Israel has the largest number of startup companies in the world. In absolute terms, Israel has the largest number of startup companies than any other country in the world, except the U. S. (3,500 companies mostly in hi-tech).
With more than 3,000 high-tech companies and startups, Israel has the highest concentration of hi-tech companies in the world -- apart from the Silicon Valley, U. S.
Israel is ranked #2 in the world for venture capital funds right behind the U. S.
Outside the United States and Canada, Israel has the largest number of NASDAQ listed companies.
Israel has the highest average living standards in the Middle East. The per capita income in 2000 was over $17,500, exceeding that of the UK.
On a per capita basis, Israel has the largest number of biotech startups.
Twenty-four per cent of Israel's workforce holds university degrees -- ranking third in the industrialized world, after the United States and Holland - and 12 per cent hold advanced degrees. Israel is the only liberal democracy in the MiddleEast.
In 1984 and 1991, Israel airlifted a total of 22,000 Ethiopian Jews at risk in Ethiopia, to safety in Israel.
When Golda Meir was elected Prime Minister of Israel in 1969, she became the world's second elected female leader in modern times.
When the U. S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya was bombed in 1998, Israeli rescue teams were on the scene within a day -- and saved three victims from the rubble.
Israel has the third highest rate of entrepreneurship -- and the highest rate among women and among people over 55 - in the world.
Relative to its population, Israel is the largest immigrant-absorbing nation on earth. Immigrants come in search of democracy, religious freedom, and economic opportunity.
Israel was the first nation in the world to adopt the Kimberly process, an international standard that certifies diamonds as "conflict free."
Israel has the world's second highest per capita of new books.
Israel is the only country in the world that entered the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees, made more remarkable because this was achieved in an area considered mainly desert.
Israel has more museums per capita than any other country.
Medicine... Israeli scientists developed the first fully computerized, no-radiation, diagnostic instrumentationfor breast cancer.
An Israeli company developed a computerized system for ensuring proper administration of medications, thus removing human error from medical treatment. Every year in U. S. hospitals 7,000 patients die from treatment mistakes.
Israel's Givun Imaging developed the first ingestible video camera, so small it fits inside a pill. Used to view the small intestine from the inside, the camera helps doctors diagnose cancer and digestive disorders.
Researchers in Israel developed a new device that directly helps the heart pump blood, an innovation with the potential to save lives among those with heart failure. The new device is synchronized with the heart's mechanical operations through a sophisticated system of sensors.
Israel leads the world in the number of scientists and technicians in the workforce, with 145 per 10,000, as opposed to 85 in the U. S., over 70 in Japan, and less than 60 in Germany. With over 25% of its work force employed in technical professions.
Israel places first in this category as well. A new acne treatment developed in Israel, the ClearLight device, produces a high-intensity, ultraviolet-light-free, narrow-band blue light that causes acne bacteria to self-destruct -- all without damaging surrounding skin or tissue.
An Israeli company was the first to develop and install a large-scale solar-powered and fully functional electricity generating plant, in southern California's Mojave desert.
All the above while engaged in regular wars with an implacable enemy that seeks its destruction, and an economy continuously under strain by having to spend more per capita on its own protection than any other country on earth.

Did the someone else make space for their new country, by driving the previous occupants out, or not ? If not, then how come there are so many Palestinians in refugee camps ? Are they on holiday ? If the original refugees, from 1948, were not from what became "Israel", then who was it, that the British had a U.N. mandate over ? What became of them, are they refugees ? Are they on extended holiday, will Israel allow them to return ? Did they have a right to fight back, or seek help to fight against those who tried to drive them out.
As the driving, ethnic "cleansing", out, of such a large population, would have had to have involved killing some of them, for being the wrong kind of Semites, then how can such action not have been racist, and therefore, genocidal ? If this was so, then how can the new occupants, with their new state, and continuing to practice genocidal ethnic "cleansing", not be regarded, as state practitioners of genocide, i.e. neo- natzi's ?
Is the claim that such people should not be referred to as neo natzis because of some claim to be Jewish, comparable to Hutu, Intere Hamwe, claiming that they're not racist, or neo- natzi, because they're black
I'll hold my breath in anticipation of a reply . . . . . , or maybe not.
