On Wednesday 4th June Smash EDO, a local campaign aimed at closing EDO MBM, a Brighton based arms manufacturer making weapons for the US and UK armed forces in Iraq and the Israeli miltary in Palestine. We will be holding a Carnival Against the Arms Trade to raise awareness of the campaign and to take creative direct action against those making a profit from war in our community. The carnival will include live music, a critical mass bike ride, costumes and many more creative ways of showing the broad based support for the movement to close down EDO MBM. The Carnival will start at 12 noon at the Level, Brighton.
