Indymedia TV?

Sorry I'm posting this as an article, I couldn't work out who would be the best person/place to ask.
I think it would be fantastic if it would be possible to somehow get the videos of various events up live rather than after the fact. There is a great number of dedicated videographers that already contribute to Indymedia, so there would be no considerable change in quality or quantity of contributions. However, being able to see things as they are unravelling might give that extra umph to inspire people to get up and do something good?
This need not be a threat to the grassrootness of indymedia, as long as basic editorial/broadcasting 'rules' are agreed on.
I am no technological guru so I don't know how this could be set up, although I can't think it would be too complicated?
