BruisedShins | 29.04.2008 14:58 | Birmingham
Staff at Shelter will be taking further industrial action in response to senior managements refusal to scrap their moves to abolish incremental pay increases, increase the working week by 2.5 hours and reduce salary protection for redeployed staff.
Strike action will take place at Shelter offices in Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the south west on Wednesday 30th April and Thursday 1st May. These will be the the fifth and sixth days of strike action since the 5th March when Shelter staff undertook the first industrial action in Shelter's 41 year history.
There will be a picket line at Birmingham Shelter offices on High Street on Thursday 1st May and any support would be greatly appreciated.
