"Given recent events, the Coalition to Stop Deportations to Iraq needs to have an urgent discussion about what work we can do to strengthen our campaign, and indeed all campaigns around refugee rights generally, since Iraq is one of the most dangerous countries in the world, and if the British government can freely deport people to Iraq, they will surely be able to deport people to anywhere.

We plan to have a few short remarks (maximum 5 minutes) from invited speakers, followed by a very focussed working session involving everyone present, discussing and deciding how we can best collectively strengthen the fight against deportation to Iraq and elsewhere."
