who what where when why?

can we talk Ken...
can we talk Ken...

Dude… did you speak to any witnesses or participants in that specific citizen’s arrest?

My Grade 10 English teacher taught me the 5 W’s of reporting… in case you forgot.

Who, what, where, when should be clearly reported without any bias.

Why always will contain an element of bias.

Libel is a different story.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA | A protester confronts Ken Livingstone regarding his crimes of criminal damage and hiring thugs to assault civilians before armed officers intervene – the Mayor is aided and abetted in his escape and is presently at large and the demonstrators explain the truth of his crimes to the officers present who should have accepted him into their custody and formerly investigated his crimes as independently video-recorded and still continue to attempt to effect a citizen’s arrest on a known criminal.

Ken arrested by angry activists

 JOHNDUNE@thelondonpaper.com

These are the moments Ken Livingstone was aided and abetted in his escape by armed police officers after he was ambushed and arrested by protesters in Parliament Square.

Campaigners, acting of their own individual accord, surrounded the Mayor and shouted that they were making a “citizen’s arrest”, claiming that he had trampled over their democratic rights in the permanent intention to deprive several campaigners, associated with Mr. Brian W. Haw, of their personal belongings in the Metropolitan police sanctioned destruction of said property, in the presence of said police, in the fact that Ken Livingstone made the order and paid the bill for hired Chubb security and GLA staff to assault peaceful members of Brian Haw’s Peace Campaign without any legal justification.

The video clip, shot by Mrs. Charity Sweet, shows Livingstone trying to escape his imminent arrest for his criminal behaviour.

An armed officer then steps in to threaten the arresting civilians and to aid and abet the escape of the Mayor as two police bicycles and three DPG car loads full, several yellow coats (MET officers), Parliamentary police abandoning their positions and arrive on the scene, joining in the escape from the clutches of the demonstrators, Mrs. Barbara Tucker having actually looped her arm through his back-pack handle and not actually physically touching him.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening as Livingstone made his way to a mayoral debate two minutes from the scene of the arrest.

One angry protester with regards to the allowed escape of a known criminal shouts at the fleeing mayor, accusing him of being CORRUPT.

Police said: “At 7:20pm, the Mayor was seen to be harassed by a group of protesters, in Parliament Square. No complaint was made.”

The protesters rightly claim that the private security officers hired by Mr. Livingstone unlawfully attempted to collude with Parliament in perverting the course of justice and tried to force the closure of the pro peace for the Iraqi children campaign opposite Parliament.

Ken Livingstone said: “Brian (Haw) and I opposed the war from day one and I considered the grass up and under my ass on Parliament Square to be more important than the campaign for peace and I paid thugs to cause criminal damage and actual bodily harm on peace campaigners. We do not always agree on how to do it. I use violence by stealth and he uses peace by defiance and openly shaming Parliament in broad daylight.”

The video clip was first uploaded to indymedia.org.uk

Did Ken Livingstone really say this? I doubt it.

spin doctoring ring any bells?

Of course the comment by the mayor has been altered as has the entire article as written by the named author of the london paper.

i merely corrected although did not not take the time to proof-read the article from last Friday's paper.

Of course ken is not going to admit his crimes.

I am always interested in the comments indymedia articles provoke.

I wish you noticed the spin the paper put on the truth which is exactly why I put "spin" on Ken's words.

I am also being taken to court for non-payment of TV liscence as I refuse to fund a propaganda machine which considers lying to the people to be just fine as long as it is labelled as spin.

I, personally, am a little more concerned over the lies the media is informing the people with than my completely obvious twisting and adding on of words into our Mayor's mouth.

Did the point that a machine gun was present, as an intended threat, escape your notice?

just my opinion.

the article I have written was and is an editorial opinion on my behalf with a bit of spin on Ken's words... well spotted.
