Rising food prices driven by U.S. backed corporate globalized greed is creating havoc worldwide.

Why must billions starve because the U.S. converts corn to ethanol so fat yanks can drive monstrous 4/4s? The U.S. is 100% responsible for globalization and its dire effects because their fascist Christian Dominionists want total corporate domination of the planet:

Surely the food problem is due to poor harvests

The biofuels are certainly causing problems but they are not the source of the current high crop prices. Thats down to poor harvests cutting the supply to a fraction of what it normally is.

The corn used by the US for biofuels isn't suitable for humans though it could be used for animal feed.

Cheap crops are not always a good thing, go have a read about how crop dumping by the US fucked over the Mexicans and drove many of their farmers out of business.
