The Mule is Manchester's most radical, alternative newspaper. We're looking for enthusiastic and committed graphic designers and illustrators to volunteer on the next issue. With 20,000 copies published quarterly, we run news and features on environmental and social justice issues: everything from climate change to squat parties to transition towns. We need graphic designers to update our look and to layout the Spring 2008 issue. We need illustrators to provide material to accompany features and stories. We can't offer payment but we can guarantee job satisfaction and exposure for your work.
