The ever more desperate inner clique running the UK indymedia has now having abandoned all pretence at being anything other than anti-semitic. Their most agressive flag carrier known as ftp or freethepeeps whose actual name is Roy Bard now mounts a daily campaign to prevent the posting of any article which covers such events as the rise in antisemitic attacks in the UK, the arrest by French police of a thug for an antisemtic murder, the regular London attacks by Islamic extremists in Jews and most recently a cowardly beating of a 13 year Jewish boy by a bunch of BNP supporters.


He has used various excuses over the past few months to justify this policy, the most common of which is that he pretends all these posts which run into the hundreds are the result of ONE poster who he labels as a "disinformation troll". When a number of people have questioned how on earth it would be possible for all this to be the work of one person (who according to Roy posts 24 hours a day from multiple locations in the UK, mainland Europe and the US) they are also prevented from posting and pilloried as "agents of the Israeli state."

The most recent of these can be seen here where Roy was forced to provide a response when he hid over 40 posts that documented various events and actions. All had one thing in common they concerned Jews ( Roy has what one longterm IMC admin called a "Jewish problem".

Other excuses Roy finds for hiding posts include "Corp Repost", with this Roy does multiple Google searches until he finds another organisation that reported the same event. He then claims that using this twisted logic that indymedia should not publish it. Presumably if this logic was applied to all indymedia posts then there would be little left.

"Hasbarah" is a nice catch all and his usual final throw of the dice if all else fails, then by using a method known only to Roy (!) he can detect that this is a secret Mossad propoganda post.

Now this is of course somewhat pathetic as Roy has shown his rather sad and childish antisemtism/racism for the world to see but although we can all laugh at racists there is a serious issue. Indymedia is a valuable resource for the progressive groups in the UK who need a way of avoiding the mainstream media and Roy is corrupting that and pushing people away. He has turned indymedia into a laughing stock for many in the movement, shown that racist antisemties will get a hearing and encouraged debate about the Holocaust. I urge other indymedia users and contributors to contact the central administrative collective and ask that Roy be removed from admin duties until such time as he has been educated about antisemitism.
