The people in Darfur, Western Sudan have been waiting for help for too long. For five years, the Sudanese government have sponsored the killing of African tribes of Darfur.
Up to 400,000 people have been murdered. 2 1/2 million have been driven from their homes and now survive on a thread in the ruins of makeshift camps which are rampant with disease on the border of Darfur and Chad
The killing still goes on and still the international community has sent no protection. How much longer do these people have to watch their families being torn apart...? How much longer do they have to wait, abandoned by the rest of the world?
Join us rather than staying silent in the face of innocent lives being needlessly wasted and call on our government to bring protection to the people of Darfur.

No war for oil. Hands of Sudan!

According to MSF, 135,000 people have 'died' in the civil war in Darfur between 2003 and 2006. about one-fifth, 25,000 died violent deaths, i.e. were killed or 'murdered'. 25,000 is a little different to '400,000 murdered'!
Please stick to the facts and stop titillating your audience with these fantasies.
While we are on the subject, all Darfuri people are Africans! There is no such thing a Darfur's African tribes'. They are all Muslims, almost all speak arabic, all are black and all are african!
It's quite clear that Britain and the US, the main funders of the NGO industry and the Darfur rebels JEM and SLA, are planning to invade Sudan in order to grab it's oil, uranium and other natural resources.
Where will the Aegis trust 'students' front group be when the bombs start falling (accidentally of course) as in Iraq, on Sudanese civilians? bombs and missiles can't distinguish between 'arabs' and 'africans' either.
Why is Israel training the JEM and SLA? Since when did this racist state which supported apartheid in South Africa start caring about Africans? Why doesn't the Aegis Trust or its students front group protest about the starving and massacre of Palestinians daily by Israel in the illegally occupied West bank and open prison of Gaza, with full support from Britain and the US? What hypocrisy!
All who really care about Africans can't seriously be calling for the perpetrators of the Guantanamo concentration camps and Abu Ghraib and the Iraq and Afghanistan brutal wars to enter Darfur to 'save' Africans?
No to imperialist war for oil! Imperialists out of Africa!
