EMERGENCY PROTEST TODAY (FRIDAY) AT THE US EMBASSY!

(PDF leaflet attached) Bring out as many people as possible - Mumia's life is in danger!

On 27 March, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia issued a decision upholding Mumia Abu-Jamal’s conviction. The Court ordered a new sentencing hearing to decide whether he is again to be sentenced to die or condemned to the living death of life in prison.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is an innocent man!
Free Mumia now!
Abolish the racist death penalty!

All out for the emergency protest!
5pm Friday 28 March 2008
at the US Embassy, Grosvenor Square, W1 (Nearest Tube: Bond Street).

MumiaAbu-Jamal is a former Black Panther Party spokesman, supporter of the MOVE organisation and an award-winning journalist known as the “voice of the voiceless”. He was framed up in 1982 on false charges of killing a Philadelphia police officer. Sentenced to death based on his political history and beliefs, Mumia has spent more than 25 years on death row for a crime he did not commit. There must be mass protests centred on the power of the workers movement to demand his freedom now!

Organise others to come out!
