but AIDS scares & puritans put a halt on it in the 1980's
is still big in californina^& suprisingly Israel & australia,
Sex surrogacy is an area that helps lead abuse& or socially uneducated men or women into relationships.
Alot of women also visit toy boys, gigellos, escorts than will admit, though there still seems to be more men using services as men are often iniaters of sex in our particular aglo-western culture.
Surrogaccy is also extremely successful in helping men & women into successful relationships & healthier for everyone as it encourages clients to treat surrogate lovingly as a partner.
It is better paid & safer than usual sex work as it involves sex therapist sessions also & can be used to make spice up & educate in sexual techniques also.
Sex surrogates take regular tests etc, but there is no regulation for this or prostitution at moment. Most sex therapists therefore do not want to work with surrogacy in case of complications.
The english collective of prostitutes seem to oppose regulation due to semioppressive regime-thought we live in at mo I think this can only make this safer for all.

It isn't - it makes the likelihood of abuse in an unavoidable trade much worse. It is a shame we fail to learn from the tragedies in Ipswich. Glasgow follows the Swedish model to a degree, Edinburgh more the Dutch, and it is Glaswegian sex-workers who are overwhelmingly being murdered.
